The Mom-Tested Score, explained

Every provider here gets a Mom-Tested Score out of 100, and we earn that number the slow way: we open each provider's public signup funnel and click through it ourselves, writing down what a real mom would actually run into. To be upfront about the limits — we don't create accounts, enter medical information, or check out, and we never make up a personal weight-loss result we didn't have. Anything clinical gets checked against FDA labels and published trial data before it goes on the page. The same six factors apply to every provider, whether or not they pay us.

The six things we test

1. Nap-time-easy signup

Could a tired mom actually finish the intake in one sitting — say, one nap — without booking a phone call first or fighting a scheduling loop? We time how many screens it takes to reach a real price, and whether it feels doable with a kid on your hip.

2. No-surprise pricing

Is the number on the screen the number you'll actually pay? We look for the sneaky stuff: a teaser first month that quietly triples, hidden membership or consult fees, and whether the price shows up before you hand over payment.

3. Both meds available

Can you get both semaglutide and tirzepatide on one account, so you're not locked into a single molecule if your body or your budget wants the other one? More choice, without starting over somewhere else, scores higher.

4. Works in your state

How much of the country can actually use it — and how fast you reach a real prescriber and a first dose. A great program you can't use because of your ZIP code isn't a great program for you.

5. Support you can reach

When you have a question at 9pm about a side effect or a dose, is there a human who answers? We poke the messaging support during the walkthrough and note whether help disappears the second the first vial ships.

6. Cancel without a fight

Can you pause, switch, or quit without a phone-tag guilt trip? We check for lock-in contracts, surprise auto-ships, and whether leaving is a button or a battle — because you shouldn't need a lawyer to stop a subscription.

What the score adds up to

We rate each of the six out of 100, blend them into one Mom-Tested Score, and put a quick letter grade on the card so you can read it at a glance. Here's where the cutoffs land:

A92 and upThe one we'd point a friend to first.
A−89–91Excellent — a small gap from the top.
B+86–88Strong, with a trade-off or two worth knowing.
B82–85Solid pick if it fits your situation.
B−79–81Fine, but read the cons closely.
Cbelow 79Works for some, but we'd shop around.
